It grew from the understanding that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; by working together, essential sector orgs can better use resources, share learning, and reach more people in our communities. We aim to strengthen capacity for partnerships, and are working to encourage and support more connections.
The Collective Partners have recently, thanks to the collaborations emerging from the Collective, secured the lease to a shop space in central Oban. The venue will function as a second-hand shop whilst also providing exciting opportunities for promoting essential sector work in the town; running workshops linked to reducing waste; encouraging circularity in our economy; support local businesses and charities through a range of activities.

Healthy Options works to empower its clients for making positive changes in their lives to make long-lasting changes to improve physical, mental and emotional well-being
Atlantis offer a variety of programmes and services to support mental health, including counseling, support groups, and educational workshops.
Hope Kitchen provides a safe place for people to get food, shelter and be made to feel welcome at their café as well as at their Green Shoots Community Garden
Oban Youth Café offers a place for young people to call their own to hang out, meeting friends, cook and over time build relationships with experienced youth work staff
Our purpose is to: build connections between our community, our services and staff; bring ownership of resources back to the community; enable, support and inspire each other to our full potential; create a circular economy of skills; increase our reach; support a "can do" culture; and raise awareness of Community Wealth Building and how it can be actioned in Oban.
