UPCOMING Workshops
Upcycling and Repair Workshops
Our weekly drop-in sessions are currently paused and we are trialling some new workshops! These workshops will make use of materials donated to Re_Store. The sewing classes will aim to complete an item that you can bring home an keep. Our trained sewing team will help participants to become more comfortable using a sewing machine and folk are welcome to bring in their own machines if they want to practice using them. Here's a selection of what's on offer:
- Learn to make a small zip bag
- learn to cut a pattern and make a large tote bag
- upcycle fabric into a rag wreath
- repair and upcycle broken jewellery
- learn to make a cushion cover
The Re_Store Workshop always welcomes volunteers to help us work through our rail of clothing to repair for the shop! Drop Aideen a message or an email to get further information about this- or just call in and say hi.
We also run seasonal community projects- keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. All materials are provided and workshops are on a pay as you feel donation basis.
