We run regular weekly sessions :
- every Thursday evening, usually 6pm-8pm
- every Saturday afternoon, 1.30pm-3.30pm
These will offer participants a chance to learn with an experienced sewing teacher, either how to mend clothes or to upcycle items into something new. Participants can bring along their own projects- or help us with ours.
The Re_Store Workshop always welcomes volunteers to help us work through our rail of clothing to repair for the shop! Drop Aideen a message or an email to get further information about this hello@obancollective.org- or just call in and say hi.
We also run seasonal community projects- keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. All materials are provided and workshops are on a pay as you feel donation.
Workshop places are limited (4 participants per session), so it's best let us know in advance if you are coming. It's also helpful to share information and photos of the item to be repaired/revamped- this helps our teachers to get prepared:
